Power balance

Other than in regimented organisations, the real power in a team equation lies with the followers. The leader has to convince followers by providing evidences and experiences of his ability to make the followers reach their goals and fulfill their purpose.
 
 The moment followers are not convinced, they simply have to unfollow such a leader. The 'Pressure' in this equation is therefore always on the leader and the 'Power' always with the followers.
 
 Accountability thus rests on both...on the leader to fulfill his promises and on the followers to ensure that the leader is leading in the correct direction.
 
 Can't blame the leader alone for failure...why in a free choice situation the follower chose to continue following a failing leader who was not delivering, is the pointer of the followers accountability.
