The Changing Balance

Writer's picture: Adil MaliaAdil Malia

There is nothing wrong with change if it is in the right direction. The unfortunate problem is that till quite late, the right direction does not look like the right direction to the mediocre and this creates doubts.  To protect their shortcoming, the mediocre label the others as radical mavericks and vote for continuity ... till silently the plaque of continuity colonizes the walls and destroys sustainence. There is danger in reckless change but greater danger in blind conservatism says Henry George.
