I would hesitate to join an organisation where the interviewer asks irrational & bad questions ... for it indirectly reflects to me the quality of its leadership which must have likewise emerged succesful answering similar such bad questions. If assessment is flawed , leadership emerging from such evaluation can never be right !!!
Could I entrust my career thence in the hands of such leadership which picks-up its critical resources on the basis of such a defecient selection process ??
Your best people should be interviewing future leaders. They reflect the narrative of the enterprise to the candidate.
Reject such an organisation unless you are desperate. Post joining, do not then blame the culture. Blame your indiscretion !
