Imagine if performance can get enhanced or value get created ever in a climate where there is negative competition and the people involved are constantly fighting with each other, where resources are not shared, where jealousy - criticism - gossip and politics prevail ???
We certainly do not come to work to make best friends. But prevalence of a positive work climate is a safe ground for meeting the right people and certainly conducive to fostering positive friendships. In such an enabling environment, performance will get enhanced, productivity yields will get higher, morale would be peaking and people would thrive in a happy environment.
Look back at your experiences and see for yourself. You made your best friends at happy work places you were engaged in. I am sure. Atleast, I did !
