Soft is not Weak

Disgustingly, our mind-patterns have been framed to discern & infer 'Strong' as being hard,rigid, stable, mighty & thus substantial. By contrast - we learnt to distinguish 'Soft' as being flocculent, delicate & thus weak.

The physical & mascular - virtues of the adjective 'strong', unfortunately permeated over time into our cognitive expressions. Our appreciation of 'ledership' virtues thus got depraved. Only those who authoritatively commanded, were rigidly strong, took firm stance, had obdurate views & confronted differences head-on with adverserial aggression were considered Strong Leaders.

Detrimentally catastrophic has been the import of physical Strength as a virtue in Cognitive reasoning. Worst hit has been corporate sponsorship of this idea.

The new normal but clamours Leadership Soft-power.

Soft is not weak. 'Soft Power' is about the new way forward. It is based on :

- Inclusive determination of innovative solutions based on amalgamation of diverse

options

- 'Learning' to enhance pace

- Fostering collaborative fire

for purpose

- Using Affability as the

bonding glue

- Prevalence of Empathetic &

Communicative processes

- Co- creation thru Engagement

& Connections

- Managing contrasts thru

influencing skills

Soft is new strong+
