Leadership has to reflect Spiritual Maturity...


Day 1 into new assignments,  I have heard Corporate Leaders make pompus announcements of their Culture Transformation Agendas that they have plans to lead !!!. Surprising. Sponsoring Culture change-agendas even before they familiarise themselves with the names of their direct reports ... incredible. Organisations in daunting markets in dynamically challenging economic environment need inclusive leadership that reflects high 'Spiritual Maturity'. One of the basic rules of Spiritual Maturity is first to realise and make internal adjustments to find ones own balance with the culture before seeking to make cultural changes in larger organisational systems. Leadership without 'Spiritual Maturity' is a like a woman...biologically ready to deliver a child but not mentally mature for motherhood !
