Passion is a positive degree before Obsession. If you are not passionate, you are searching for reasons to quit. The slightest hint of failure or pain becomes a strong reason for you to quit. Once however if you are passionate, you are on a look-out for reasons to continue. The slightest ray of hope you can see becomes a strong reason for you to continue despite calamities. However, when passion crosses the zone of rationality and goes beyond the danger mark, it enters the zone of obsession and thence becomes negative and destructive. Be it art, be it music, be it sports or be it any field of work practise.... Passion maketh the difference.
