Be wary of the man who urges an action in which he himself
incurs no risk. The Manager who advises actions which he himself does not follow is a fake leader. Verbal leadership is different from authentic leadership as much as genuine work differentiated from fake work.
Gracefully call out fake work. Let your boss understand that - genuine is fine; But that you do not approve of it if it is fake. If the situation persists, commence your search for another place to work for.
It can't last long this way.
