Humility

Humility when one has not been successful, is a natural, coping, self-protective mechanism. However, when one reaches high-chairs and occupies positions of Power, the same humility then is the sign of an Inspirational leader !

One experiences this, day-in and day-out in the Corporate milieu.Power of the Chair that one occupies , intoxicates certain leaders. Hubris is born again But in my experience, not for long. I have seen such chairs vigorously rock, once humility erodes.

The humble king becomes a great king. The powerful king becomes a tyrant. Power has always to be blended with humility. Corporate leadership, not much different.
