Lead Life on Your Terms

Live your life for the meaning and fulfillment it brings you—not as a constant effort to meet others’ expectations.

There is little value in reshaping who you are merely to appear charming, nor in feeling unsettled when others are not impressed by your words or actions. Approval is fleeting; authenticity endures.

Focus on understanding what truly brings you happiness, and nurture it with intent. Extend that same freedom to others—do not expect them to perform to please you, nor feel disappointed when they respond differently than you hoped.

Whether you are seeking approval, acceptance, or operating from a position of authority, the principle remains unchanged: live with self-awareness, not for validation.

This is especially visible in the corporate world, where many alter their behaviour to align with managerial expectations. At times, this slips into sycophancy—an unsustainable path that often leads to stress, anxiety, psychosomatic strain, and deeper psychological fatigue.

Your life is yours to experience fully. Live it on your terms—and allow others the dignity of doing the same.
