Listening Blindness

"Listening Blindness," is not a formal clinical term. It generally refers to a diminished ability or willingness of some people - to listen attentively, consciously and understand what others are saying. It has nothing to do with hearng defeciency. They hear. perfectly well. It is more about their ego which makes them blind to the decision choices they are making which at some point will not only destroy them but also the larger community which they are not being mindful of. It manifests as a tendency to throw caution to wind and -be more concerned with one's own thoughts and responses than with actively engaging to'1 making the right choices.
