Mind - The Master Mischief-maker !

In various contexts be it spiritual teachings, psychological analysis, and even discussions about the nature of this thought, be it personal or corporate - the mind, with its meandering thoughts and desires, is singled out as a source of instability, confusion and ultimately, the prime source of all unhappiness.

The mind is however uniquely blessed. Along with its ability to create mischief, it is also blessed with the potential to filter its mischief and dilute the it from causing further harm.

This view is contrasted with the idea of an acute need for more balanced and enlightened state where the mind is calmer and more in tune with reality to drive overall happiness in the system.

The leader should have a balanced mind. That is the expectation. Mischief is however natural but it has to be counter- balanced with concious efforts to neutralize the ill-effects of its negativity.

Imagine a leader with a mischievious mind creating a havoc at the work place...unless his goodness takes over to set right the imbalances caused by its menacing mind.

Organisational systems therefore need to be ever alert. If they hear complaints or see the filtering plant of leadership behaviours inoperational or under a breakdown, they need to immediately intervene to set the same right.
