Your shadow is not the real you. The closer you are to the source of light, the bigger the shadow you cast. Situational. Your shadow at Sunrise is the tallest. But only fools mistake their actual height to be the same as that of their morning shadows !
So too in Corporates. Often people who work with bright people in a team tend to momentarily reflect tall shadows !!! Thus so necessary for one to self assess and know one's true capabilities. Guaging your capabilities only on the basis of the situational shadow you momentarily cast , in the long run, will fool no but deflate you for sure.
