The greatest blunder in 'HR' is to mix-up and interchange reference to 'Talent' with reference to the generic 'People Resources' in the enterprise.They are different. Talent is a high-demand commodity in a hyper-demand People Market. Talent is fungible. Your organisational is always vulnerable to Talent attack from talent plunderers (see the two hoods on the two top corners of the doodle !!!). You therefore need to not only identity your key talent but invest energy to protect and retain them from talent attacks. Your organisational success is a direct outcome of the sharp talent edge it has developed in the system. Talent is the cutting-edge...rest are the working/spreading edge of the knife.
