By corollary, a mind that is not open, does not learn..and the mind that does not learn clutches on to the old perspectives.

Illuminating the essence of neuroplasticity, the phrase "a mind that learns has to change" underscores the brain's remarkable capacity to adapt and restructure in response to experiences. This fundamental aspect of learning entails intricate adjustments, encompassing both structural and functional transformations within the brain.

The concept emphasizes that an open mind, inherently inclined towards learning, embraces change effortlessly. Conversely, a closed mind, resistant to new knowledge, clings to outdated perspectives, hindering growth and evolution of thought.

Next time someone tells you - " ... you are inconsistent and now you are changing your view" . Actually, take it as a compliment. He means you are learning and that is good !
