Those who get pricked by thorns think it to be a conspiracy of those who gather flowers...not knoweth that all those who collect flowers have all been gashed by the thorns too, sometime or the other, earlier.
They succeeded because they learnt to bear and overlook the pricks and jabs as a learning part of the journey.
