We are ever so confused between our need to walk alongside the larger group and feel protected by blending with the crowd, on the one hand...and our desire to walk aside and build a distinct identity for ourselves, on the other.
He who succeeds in finding his distinct pathway whilst walking alongside the group, wins.
Corporate success in careers draws heavily from balance in this paradox. Whilst you have to first learn to be an effective team member and hence learn the art of blending with the team....you have to build your unique identity by softly differentiating yourself from the group by displaying your unique competencies, communications, character, commitment & capabilities.
Pur shoor zindagi ka yehi afsana hai
hamey bheed ke saath chalna bhi hai
aur bheed se alagg

Very true
A company's culture and character are usually embodied in its Corporate Governance Philosophy, which is published in its Annual Report every year. All stakeholders, even newcomers have to be made aware of this philosophy and values. It is brought out in the company's rituals but it need not be a one off thing. It can be displayed at strategic locations , regularly vocalized by directors, put up on the website and be a continuous reminder. That's how a common culture is built that binds all the stakeholders together.
Some what true in my case also
Great thought. Really worth internalising for success
