Don't drag yourself to do your work if it does not bring you pleasure nor joy .. for that what is distasteful takes its dominant flavour from the sentiments of the performer.
Remember the cost of doing something without joy is rather high on you. It is not about the cake, it is more about your reputation as a baker.
