The Destructive Twins

Procrastination and Laziness. While often misunderstood as similar traits, they have distinct differences. Laziness typically results from a lack of motivation, while procrastination involves delaying action.

It's essential to understand that procrastination is more about managing emotions than time. It helps us cope with negative feelings like anxiety or self-doubt associated with challenging tasks.

To conquer procrastination, it's crucial to tackle the emotional obstacles inhibiting productivity. Certainly there could be some demotivating factors in the Culture or Climate of the enterprise that may be blocking an incumbent from letting his discretionary flow of energy to move into its element to face the challenges.

Seeking guidance from a Coach or Counsellor can aid in identifying and overcoming these barriers, leading to improved motivation and task management.
