Fiery Crucial Conversations are better than pleasant gibberish from sugar-coated spitballs. Never use praise to lead into fierce conversations. Sugar-coated spitballs only end up deceiving you. Each one of us will be better served if we go out and seek fierce conversations with people that matter on all crucial issues which sometimes may become unpleasant and is thus avoided. But it is counterproductive and does not help to either hush nor push crucial issues under the carpet. We are all duty-bound to seek & give correct inputs in the form of conversations so what if such may turn-out to be fierce. It requires serious coaching to engage in fierce conversations
