Most people mistake Leadership to be linked with identification and status of the bearer of power whereas the reality is that leadership is actually about providing direction to the common purpose. It is a delicately balanced dual challenge between purpose and glory. A leader has to personally and without limits be involved seamlessly in fulfillment of the purpose of the group and yet at the same time not operate so dominantly so as to let himself be identified as the sole controller of the group affairs. His hidden image should behind the scene influence, beckon and inspire. His dominance and power should not cause such fear to encourage feudalistic sycophancy
