If organisations do not develop fast tracks to manage careers of their 'Hi Pos' out of fear that comparisons by average performers may cause attrition or demotivation , they are committing a great blunder. Soon such organisations would be left with happy average performers who will not be able to provide required leadership or scale the enterprise to its next levels on its growth graph.
Do not sacrifice your 'Hi-Pos' on the altar to satisfy your 'Av-Pos'. Careers are critical and they need to be managed.
