Neglecting the Elderly: A Vital Reminder

In the hustle and bustle of youth, it's easy to overlook the importance of caring for the elderly. While you're caught up in the vigor of success and the busyness of life, the needs of the old, frail, and lonely often fade into the background.

Yet, it's precisely during this time that the elderly crave your presence, affection, love, and attention the most – a fact that may slip your mind amidst the daily distractions and competing priorities. Do not make your Career a reason for your neglect for I know of many successful professionals who have found the time to also care and be available to their elders for care.

You may have intentions to visit them with gifts of fruits and flowers in the future (soon you say), but remember, time waits for no one. As the clock ticks away, the opportunity to show your elders the care they yearn for and deserve, diminishes. Soon, you'll find yourself yearning for the time and support of the young ones you once nurtured and guided.

The pursuits and urgencies of youth should never overshadow the expectations of those who selflessly dedicated their prime years, efforts, and resources to shape the person you've become today.
