Between the two twin sisters you went to meet for matrimonial match-making ( and that as I understand happens only in India), albeit both may be attractive, opt for Process and not for Results !!!
Cultivating a love for process is essential for sustained success. While a focus on results can be motivating, it doesn't guarantee repeated achievements. Embracing and mastering the process significantly increases the likelihood of success.
The mindset of prioritizing process over reward is crucial for effectiveness. Though I must confess that it is attractive, it is also extremely short-focussed. Consistent, small efforts to refine the right practices daily, certainly paves the way and also the probability for assured success.
As Kobe Bryant wisely noted, a passion for practice over the game itself fosters inevitable success. This approach allows for skill development during quiet, unseen moments, minimizing the pressure of performance from peers.
When you concentrate solely on the end goal, the risk of burnout rises, especially during slow progress. However, by loving the journey—the daily grind, the learning experiences, and the challenges—you can find deep fulfillment, regardless of immediate outcomes.
Ultimately, a love for the habits that contribute to success is far more rewarding than a mere desire for accolades, such as winning a Gold Medal. Embrace the process, and success will follow.
