Discretion is the sign of great leadership. Knowing when to pick your fights and knowing when to ignore wars to win battles is about leadership wisdom in practice.
Can't blame the barking dog. But certainly fault the man for fighting the dog back !!!
Wisdom is obvious but elusive.
