Persuasion - The Esprit Of Power

Power has a natural tendency to be aggressive and hence the route to persuasion is perceived as being long, dilatory and ambivalent. Thus the powerful prefer to rather be aggressive, combative and contentious than to invest time to convince and persuade. The citadel of power therefore collapses.

Persuasion on the other hand has the unique ability to influence , appeal and convince. Thus it attracts Power.

Unfortunately, unless wise leadership retains its characteristics, it gets intoxicated with Power and starts believing like it's earlier adversary that the route to persuasion is long, dilatory and ambivalent. It learns its lesson the hard way too.

Power built on persuasion sustains till the esprit of persuasion endures.
